Slip-N-Slide Records is looking for "The Next Big Superstar" in 2010!! Is it you?!?

Slip N Slide Records teamed up with Def Jam Records back in June of 2008 and toured several cities such as Mobile AL, Jacksonville FL, Orlando FL, Tampa FL, Miami FL and Columbia SC, in search of the Next Big Superstar. The 2008 finalists from the showcase held all over the country were flown to Miami Fl, compliments of Slip-N-Slide Records where they had one final chance to impress some of the top A/R’s in the music industry. Mike Bless and Swazy Baby were the grand prize winners and signed with Slip N Slide Records.
“The Next Big Superstar” has provided huge opportunities for aspiring artist in all genres of music from across the country allowing them the opportunity to perform live in front of various record label executives top “decisions makers” in the music industry. The competition includes artists from various musical backgrounds including R&B, Rap Gospel, Reggae, Rock and more.
This event will place from 10am-8pm on a Saturday with back to back auditions that are all viewed and judged by The CEO of Slip n Slide Records, Mr. Ted Lucas, as well as other Major execs from other labels. Each showcase ends with the selection of one winner. That winner receives a trophy along with the signing of a temporary contract with SNS records. Each finalist will be accommodated with a full paid expense trip to Miami on behalf of Slip N Slide Records to compete in the Grand Finale against other finalists. One winner will be chosen from the finale to land a recording deal with Slip N Slide Records.

“Haiti today faced a natural disaster of unprecedented proportion, an earthquake unlike anything the country has ever experienced.

The magnitude 7.0 earthquake – and several very strong aftershocks – struck only 10 miles from Port-au-Prince.

I cannot stress enough what a human disaster this is, and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse. The over 2 million people in Port-au-Prince tonight face catastrophe alone. We must act now.

President Obama has already said that the U.S. stands ‘ready to assist’ the Haitian people. The U.S. Military is the only group trained and prepared to offer that assistance immediately. They must do so as soon as possible. The international community must also rise to the occasion and help the Haitian people in every way possible.”
